Bottom of the page for newest stories:
- Musings -- A look through Simon's
eyes about what happened during the episode Survival. When he started
keeping a journal during his divorce, Simon never thought a detective and
an anthropologist would drive him back into the habit.
- Bent -- There's bad blood between
Blair and a consultant that's come to work for the Cascade police department,
and Jim and Simon want to know why.
- False Start -- Jim Ellison is having
the worst day of his life. First he finds out he has enhanced senses, then
he discovers the only person who can help him is...not what he imagined.
- Wild Ride -- Ellison and Sandburg
(the early days). A lunch here, a meeting there - both men are still trying
to figure each other out. One simple lunch date proves to be more than
either of them bargained for.
- Night Ramblings -- Archive Smarm
challenge response. Smarm. Deep thoughts. Jim lays it on the line.
- Siege and a Half -- Major Crimes
is a madhouse after Kincaid's men are rounded up, and Ellison gets an earful
about what Blair did. And where is that pesky anthropologist anyway?
- Tactical Exercises -- Ellison's
temporary roommate is turning out not to be so temporary, after all. And
Simon, for one, is tired of hearing about it. Except his formerly stoic,
mostly non-verbal detective seems to just be getting started...
- Blind Man's Bluff: The Time it Takes
to Blink -- A Simon's journal story. While waiting to hear news
about Blair's condition, Simon reflects on recent events...
- Second Secret -- It suddenly becomes
the team of Sandburg and Banks when Jim disappears - and it's anybody's
guess as to who is going to survive *that* one.
- Separated -- Follow-up to Warriors.
Having regained his senses, Jim is having thoughts about himself, the universe,
shamans...
- Separated, Part II -- Takes place
the same night as Separated. Sandburg is having thoughts about himself,
the universe, sentinels, and just what the heck a shaman actually *does.*
Since he can't sleep, he goes into the kitchen and begins making some noise...
- Slam Dunk -- Missing scene to Three
Point Shot. Sandburg has withheld evidence and Ellison is practically
ballistic. And then there's the little matter of getting it past Simon...
- The Morning After -- Cassie set
both guys up for a dinner date. They set it up so she had to pay. Now it's
time to talk about it.
- Virtual Aggression -- Jim discovers
the pleasure of playing Doom on the computer. Then he decides he needs
a computer to pay his bills...
- Cypher Within Cypher -- Simon's
thoughts on David Lash, and his intended fifth victim...
- The Ride Home -- Follow-on to Prisoner
X. It's bad enough that Ellison is stressed, and Sandburg is worried,
but then the car slides off the road...
- Aftereffects -- More Prisoner
X. Jim just isn't Jim any more - and Blair doesn't know how to bring
him back...
- Ashes -- David Lash is dead, and
the case is closed. But Sandburg can't seem to get over it, and Jim isn't
doing much better...
- U-Turns -- Follow-up to Crossroads.
Simon and Blair's trip back to Cascade. And just what did Jim mean, anyway?
- Broken Glass -- Simon has been
watching Ellison and Sandburg crumble just a little bit at a time. Now
that Alex has succeeded in driving them away from each other, Simon wonders
if he shouldn't step in...before something happens.
- Fame -- A totally unscientific
poll gives Blair the dubious honor of best-looking professor on campus.
If the bullpen finds out, he'll never hear the end of it...
- Spoken Out Loud -- S2 missing scene.
While waiting by Sandburg's hospital bed, Simon foregoes the journal and
opts for a lecture.
- Those Traveling Blues -- Missing
scene to Night Train. Jim suffered through a miserable bout of the
flu - now it's Blair's turn.
- The Road Back -- Sequel to Sentinel
Too, part 1, where Blair has a talk with himself about responsibility,
friendship, and why he might be lying face down in a fountain.
- Fallen -- Locked away in a mental
hospital, a confused Alex tries to figure out just what went wrong when
she clashed with a certain sentinel and guide. Especially when she was
so sure she had control of the situation...
- Forward Movement -- Missing scene/epilogue
for TSbyBS. This was the result of a challenge given by Little Calamity
about getting into Jim's head on the subject of TSbyBS.
- Turkey Over Easy -- Sandburg wants
a traditional Thanksgiving holiday. Ellison thinks he knows that that means
until they actually try to have one.
- Driver's Ed -- A Sentinel with
one of Detroit's most powerful vehicles at the mercy of one of those annoying,
unreasonable speed limits, and a nagging partner.
