topic for a Sentinel fanfic story? These people have volunteered to
do just that! The Cascade Library's list of Consultants have volunteered
to answer questions on subjects they're particularly familiar with, for
authors who would like help in a particular area. These nice people are
busy, so be patient when you send them your questions -- they might need
some time to answer them. Be prepared to give them details on your particular
question and fanfic story if needed, so they can tailor their answer to

We don't use the term 'Gourmet' around here. Not since the lady who claimed
to be a 'gourmet cook' who couldn't follow the directions on a box of Macaroni
and Cheese, and when making manicotti asked 'How do you stuff a noodle?'.
We call it 'ethnic' cooking. I can make Chow Mein, Sieu Mai, Har Gow, beef
tongue (or lamb, or pig...), Broccoli Beef, and several other Chinese dishes.
I also make Sushi (NOT sashimi...I don't do raw fish), and tempura. I have
several dishes that are Kosher and a wonderful recipe for batter fried
veggies. I also make a number of Mexican dishes, as well, and have a large
collection of cookbooks to draw upon.

My current one is a Shepherd/Husky/Wolf mix, showing many traits of his
Wolf ancestors. Cats, I've managed to train them, not only do they come
to their names when called (most of the time), they also sit on command,
and in the past, I've taught them to fetch, sit up, and walk on a leash.
