Hey That's a Normal Day in the Cascade PD, Right?

I sometimes wonder why they don't give Cascade an award for being the most dangerous city in America. Here I am, sitting in the bullpen typing out yet another report on a crime that Jim and I have just solved.

It's been four months since I left the academy and became a full time member of the major crime unit. Yeah I still have some problems remembering that I'm Detective Blair Sandburg, newest member of the Cascade PD. Why did I give up everything I dreamed of since I was a little boy? All I have to do is look over at the desk of my best friend and brother Jim Ellison and I know I made the right choice.

Sure, I spend way too much time in the hospital. It's my second home, some would say, and yes I still have lots of bad guys coming after me or Jim, but now I'm able to look after both of us much better

Now, where was I? Oh, that's right, another report to write! This one's about an idiot who walked into Wonderburger and tried to rob it, good idea you think, maybe it would have worked, except that he picked a time when Jim and I were looking for an easy meal after a long a day at the salt mines. Boy was he surprised when instead of the assistant looking down the barrel of this guy's gun, he end up looking down the barrel of Jim's gun.

Not a pleasant sight at all, especially with a pissed off cop at the end of it. Of course the idiot had to choose not to go easy, so the perp decided to try and take me as a hostage, big mistake, right?

So here we are, another report to write, one perp downstairs in a cell with a wounded shoulder, one cop with a black eye and butterfly bandage on my head and one hungry pissed off partner.

But hey that's just a normal day in the Cascade PD, right?
